We like to fast track our students into the industry, which is what sets us apart from any other college or school! To help make things a little easier for you, we’ve put together a list of burning questions to help you completely understand what this course has to offer:

Why should I do a VTCT at DFMA?
A VTCT is a nationally recognised qualification, so partnering that with a world-renowned makeup school is the perfect combo! Unlike standard colleges, we are able to put our own DFMA stamp on the course, tailoring it to you and the current, ever changing industry. At DFMA we are adamant on helping you throughout your journey into the industry, no matter what you want to do! We are the industry, so we can understand how it can be daunting to take a leap into this fast-paced world, so we are right by your side to guide you on your exciting journey! Once you are part of the DFMA family you can rely on us to get you where you want to be, fast tracking you into a career or job placement soon after the end of the course. Our graduates have worked for Paris Fashion Week, gained scholarships with the BBC and are also working for MAC, Charlotte Tilbury and Laura Mercier, to name a few! So, whatever you want to do, we are right by your side.
What makes DFMA different to a standard college?
At DFMA we are passionate about keeping our students completely updated with current trends and our tutors are actively working in the industry – so they know what’s what! With DFMA you’ll not only receive a government recognised qualification, but also a DFMA certification which is internationally recognised by cosmetic houses and industry experts! You’ll also receive incredible aftercare which you won’t find anywhere else, including DFMA exclusive job opportunities, VIP masterclass event invitations with top make up brands and 24/7 advice and support from your tutors and fellow students! Your opportunities with DFMA will be for life, so the end of your course would be just the start of your journey with us. We are passionate about helping our students get into the industry, therefore we don’t just send you off into the wild! We will be with you every step of the way with business advice, work opportunities and constant training through our masterclasses.
What qualifications do I need to do this course?
To take part in this level 3 course, you will either need a level 2 VTCT qualification, any college or university qualification, to have completed a 4 week plus course with DFMA previously or a Maths and English GCSE.
How long is this course?

This course will run for one day a week for 21 weeks, 1 week will be for the industry renowned DFMA INDUCTION style learning and 20 weeks for VTCT DFMA . This course is intensive, fast tracking you into the industry once completed. It’s the fastest government recognised diploma you can do that feeds you directly into work and opportunities.
You will need to practice at home to keep your skills up and you’ll need to ensure you attend at least 90% of the course. It will require the utmost determination and dedication from you for us to then be able to add you to our no fee agency books – and for you to receive the famous DFMA unlimited aftercare!
